Watercolour and inks.

So I’ve been doing my final project for this year and that’s why I haven’t been paying much attention you guys these last few weeks. I really need to put some of my artings up so you can see. The project is about my travels before I went to uni, and in particular the time I spent teaching in India (oh yeah btw, I teach English as a foreign language sometimes). So I’m working out what work I’m comfortable being on Tumblr, since some of it contains mention of some of my students, but either way I thought this was pretty safe.

It’s supposed to be for a film so this was done in high detail to enable for panning. I know that the states a pretty accurate, and I tried to get all the monuments and cities in more or less the right places. But the train rails are all over the place and I didn’t put in rivers or roads because I didn’t want to overcrowd it. Flowers represent national parks, and the colour scheme is taken from my own photographs.

You’ll notice that Tamil Nadu, the place where I stayed, is the most detailed. I’d really love to travel back to India, and visit more of the country, and maybe if I do that then I’ll make a more detailed version of this.

Karan: That’s such a rubbish name. Okay fine Tommy but only on one condition, you will be responsible for taking Tommy for a walk, I can’t do all this.
Rhea: Done.
Karan: I will just sit on my table and feed bones to him from my plate. Here, eat Tommy, Eat Tommy, that’s all I am gonna do.
Rhea: So what else would you do after marriage apart from spoiling kids and Tommy?
Karan: What else is there to do? I will live my life to the fullest with my Kids and Tommy. Oh and yes, with you too..
Rhea: So I come after Kids and Tommy?
Karan: No no, that was a mistake, with you..
Rhea: So I come after Kids and tommy?
Karan: No Rhea, that was…Im sorry.
Rhea: IF you took my name after Kids and Tommy, then I will shred you into little little pieces and feed them to the same Tommy.
Karan: Okay okay I am sorry. From today, Kids and Tommy are afterwards, I will forever and always only love you the most.
Look, how easy it is to talk about arranged marriages. We almost got married.
